The writer, Max Lucado, based his book on Esther but presents it in an ingenious way. He draws a parallel between the problems of Esther's time and those in our time and shows how God is in control and His plan will succeed though we can't see it coming to pass, Max shows God is the 'God of the great turnarounds'. The challenge is to be brave to trust in our God who is bigger than any of our problems. The writer concludes with the thought that God works all things for our good. This is the triumphant note that encouraged me. I strongly recommend this book to everyone.

Great Insights from story of Esther
This book is a Bible Study from the story of Esther and Mordecai in the Bible. The main message is that although God seems """"quiet"""" and not mentioned in the book of Esther, yet He was working behind the scenes for the good of His people. It is insightful and biblical, also enjoyable for reading as Max Lucado is a great story teller and pastor. At the end of every chapter, there is some reflective questions that could be useful. Greatly recommended book for those who need hope in the turbulent times.
