I always enjoy Francine Rivers' books but I loved this one particularly for it's biblical setting. While I knew all five stories from the Bible in this book, I found a renewed interest and appreciation for the women due to the storytelling and writing. Plus the context really comes alive, I felt I had a greater understanding of what the typical sights, sounds and smells would have been for these women! Obviously anyone who reads this book needs to be aware that Francine Rivers has taken some fictional licence but I would hope that anyone reading Lineage of Grace would be inspired to go read the original stories found in the Bible.

Highly Recommended
Francine Rivers is such a wonderful writer and this book is no exception. It is so easy to lose yourself in her writing. Follow the lives of five wonderful women from the bible to discover lessons we can still use today in our own lives. I do not often reread books but this one will be going on my shelf to read through again in the future.

Beautiful Christian Fiction
Love Francine River's book including this one, a Lineage of Grace. They are always beautiful, exceptional, and exhibitions of God's love. Story of 5 women in the bible that shows God's love, mercy and hope, in the 5 separate parts. Could not put it done, once you pick up this book. Highly recommended.

It looks great. I have bought this for my daughter for Christmas this year. . . I cannot wait till she's read it because Im very excited to borrow her book and read it too!

INCREDIBLE!!
What a powerful and beautifully written book! It encompasses 5 very different stories of women from the Bible, all exceptionally laid out. I am at loss for the right words for this book! Francine is so gifted in her art of writing. I cannot recommend this book enough - it is an extraordinary read!
