I absolutely loved this book! From reading the Title you would never have expected that Kathryn has actually inherited a mine. Coming from a privileged family, but feeling lost and out of place she is forced to leave her home by her step father, to embark into an unknown territory to receive an inheritance of an uncle she never knew. This is an ultimate girl power tale where Kathryn has to adapt quickly to her new life in order to survive. But being both strong and stubborn, she does and changes the community around her, amidst the romance of men vying for her affection.

The Lady's Mine
Nice historical romance with some mystery mixed in. A feminist bent (but not overpowering) with the main character being a strong willed suffragette. I liked seeing the growth and humility in several characters. The double meaning in the title was clever.
