    Great story

Nice book for children of a range of ages. There are a couple of sentences for each double page, so is suitable for young kids but the messages are ones that older kids would really appreciate too. The story is written by an Aussie. The pictures are very simple but bright and colourful. In short, this books is the sequel to """"Peter and the Rooster"""", which was a story about Peter denying Jesus. This story shows Peter's sadness and emotion following his denial, and focuses on forgiveness. This books is part of a series.

    Great for kids

This book follows on from 'Peter and the Rooster', moving from Peter's denial to Jesus' forgiveness. It retells John 21:1-22 in a simple way young readers can understand while still maintaining the foundations of the biblical story. Is a great catalyst for discussions with children on grace, forgiveness and purpose.

    Perfect for Easter

Peter wants to be brave but he's feeling like a total failure after denying Jesus and watching him die. And then, Jesus comes and offers not just forgiveness but a second chance. Follows on directly from Peter and the Rooster so good if you could read them together to get the whole story. As expected from this series, the pictures are big, bright and perfect for kids and parents alike. A brilliant story to share with kids at Easter, or any time of the year, reminding kids that though we make mistakes, God will always forgive us. Highly recommended for kids 5-10.

    Restoration story

This story is the continuing of Peter's story after we last see him crying after denying Jesus. I love the way it shows Peter's emotions in a way that kids can understand. I love how it shows Jesus forgiveness of Peter. I love how this story allows you to talk to your kids about Jesus love of them and future for them. Great book to help parents.
