Although this is not a short book (624 pages), Kent Hughes does an excellent job of maintaining interest all the way through the narrative. He sticks to the story line of Genesis, addressing any issues as they may arise, and giving application for the Christian today. Even though you may know the main events and characters in Genesis, you will find there is always something to learn and think about. The section at the end of the commentary is very good - Man + Sin/ Faith & Righteousness/Grace/ Messiah/ God in Genesis. \\nWell worth the read. \\n
