    Outstanding read

My goodness this book is good. When I first saw it I thought it'd be nothing new, just another book on the gospel. Which is okay, cause we never move beyond the gospel. It's just that I've read a lot of books that have said pretty much the same thing recently. \\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\nBut this book is different. Yes, the gospel of God's grace in Christ is clearly presented. Chrystal clear. Really good. But the value in this book is the two aspects to the gospel's importance in the life of the church:\\r\\n\\r\\n1) Gospel doctrine: the truth of the person finished work of Christ and all its individual, corporate and cosmic implications; and\\r\\n\\r\\n2) Gospel culture: how the gospel of God's grace in Christ must shape gospel-like people - humble, other-person centred, gracious, truth-full, generous, welcoming, reconciling, joyous and life-giving people. \\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\nI read his book, highlighted almost every page, and have since gone through the book, praying for my church everything I highlighted. I'll be doing this again and again. So helpful
