The story is written by an Aussie. The pictures are very simple but very bright and colourful. There are a couple of sentences for each double page, so is great for 2-4yr olds. The story is subtly linked to the bible covering the main lessons from Jonah. This books is part of a series from the people at Lost Sheep. The questions at the back extend the learning for older children.

This children's book was a delight to read with our child. It's definitly for the families who love quirky humour. The book gets a lot of use - it's constantly getting pulled off the bookshelf for another read. You still get the essence of the Jonah story, but it has been made even more memorable. The illustrations are colourful, and very funny.
