A spiritual journey for the reader as well as the characters
I was quickly hooked into the character's personal stories and so glad I had each book of the Sensible Shoes Club on hand to keep reading when I finished the previous one! The stories are gritty, real life and relatable. . . at times, very personally so for me, and that led me on a bit of my own rollercoaster journey with God as I reflected on His work in my own life. While I really enjoyed the books, I would read them again next time more slowly and reflectively rather than the quicker way I read other fiction (and the way I devoured them the first time through!). There are many practical spiritual exercises for the reader to engage with throughout the novels and it would be well worth the time to do so. A worthwhile read - definitely buy the set so you can keep reading straight away!

Amazing series
This is the complete series of the Sensible Shoes Club. This is one of the best series I have read! The 4 women's stories are developed individually throughout all 4 books which means they are hard to put down as their stories are quite captivating & they become beautifully intertwined. I loved how there is a very strong spiritual challenge throughout but also a very interesting truly relatable story. Women of all ages will enjoy this series.

Essential Reading
This book series is incredible! I am not typically a reader of Fiction but I do love this series. I fell in love which of the 4 women and their stories. I really enjoyed going on the spiritual journey with them and found myself going on my own journey as well. Each storyline is believable and enjoyable. A must-read for all women, especially those seeking their own spiritual journey. I read all 4 books in just over a week because I couldn't put them down.

Definitely Worth Reading
This series of books is phenomenal!! It's a marvellous mix of spirituality and fiction, which means your learning about helpful spiritual practices in a way that's easy to read. The lead women all have such different histories and experiences, that are grounded in reality, which makes for very interesting reading. \\r\\nI feel like I'm part of the Sensible Shoes Club and really enjoyed journey with them.
