    Theology for Laymen

This book is the first one in the apprenticeship series book written by the author. This hardback version has the built-in bookmark, which makes it easier to track your reading. This book is about theology (knowing God), as the author expounds on the characters of God displayed in the Bible, i. e. God is Love, God is Holy, etc in a very simple language. This book clarifies some of the misconceptions about God, for example, some people have this notion about God that God is wrathful God that is ready to punish them when they do wrong. At the end of each chapter, there is a """"Soul Training"""", which contains personal reflections and applications, which I find helpful. I would like to recommend this book for any Christian who wants to grow in their knowledge of God.

Jesus centered: one of my best reads this year!

I just love this 218 pages yet very light book, handy to take everywhere. It's basically what we Christians have to be reminded all the time, the stories about Jesus. . . how He showed us thru the Bible stories how to live according to His life. . . what is more important for Him and should be for us. Sometimes we live accustomed so much to this material world, we forget we're Christians (followers of Christ) and we forget to follow His examples and we neglect to live our lives according to His way. This book just shows us our way and Jesus' way. It's nice that there's a portion """"For Reflection"""" at the end of some of the chapters. It's one of my best reads this year!
