    Fun and Challenging

This was the first Lost Sheep book I ever saw and I got totally hooked on this series it is such a fun book and use a fun way of sharing a simple yet challenging message not just for children but also for their parents or whoever is reading the book.

    Parts of a great series

Nice book for children of a range of ages. There are a couple of sentences for each double page, so is suitable for young kids but the messages are ones that older kids would really appreciate too. The story is written by an Aussie. The pictures are very simple but bright and colourful. In short, this books encourages the reader to be inspired to live God's message in our lives! This books is part of a great little series.

    Couldn't recommend more

I love this book! The pictures are bright and colourful, with ducks full of character drawn across every page, perfect for keeping young kids captivated. But it's the story of this one I love so much. Not only does it rhyme (always fun when reading out loud) but it's a really poignant reminder for kids and parents alike to not just agree to a message in church but really live it out during the week. Not only hear the message but put it into action. Absolutely brilliant and a book I couldn't more highly recommend, especially to kids aged 1-6.

    For adults too

This brightly coloured story is a fun one for kids ad it tells the story of some ducks and why God gave them wings. It has repetition of words describing their walk to church which little kids love. For my 3yr old grandsons it is a fun story but for older kids and adults it hits on the going to church and listening to a great message, being inspired but then leaving church and doing absolutely nothing about it. I am challenge and reminded every time I read this book to the kids.

Sneakily a kids book aimed at adults

Through humour and duck metaphors, this book challenges the attitude of being enthusiastic for God and his purposes at church but then not taking that same drive with us as we head back home. It is a great challenging lesson but in this form, is too abstract for children without further discussion. I would recommend using this book as a tool for conversations with children but not purely for entertainment.
