    Great book

Nice book for children of a range of ages. There are a couple of sentences for each double page, so is suitable for young kids but the messages are ones that older kids would really appreciate too. The story is written by an Aussie. The pictures are very simple but bright and colourful. In short, this books give Zaccheus a childhood back story, where he was never picked for the sports teams, he was teased and bullied. This is then linked to his adulthood as a tax collector. The story was easy for kids to follow and talked about the emotional impact on Zac from the bullying and the happiness Zac felt when Jesus picked him!\\nThis books is part of a series.

    Engaging

The story of Zacchaeus, but told from the time he was a young boy. Another favourite of my grandkids. Although this book is fun for children as young as three year old, it is a great teaching book for older children as it shows how bullying made Zac want to get even and how he became a mean tax collector. Bonus lesson added to the normal lesson that Zacchaeus' encounter with Jesus teaches. Beautiful bold colour pictures too.

    Brilliant!

This has got to be my favourite retelling of Zacchaeus' story, especially for kids. It's brightly coloured, funny and such a sweet story of someone who's been bullied his whole life - and now doing anything he can to get back at those who tormented him - finding acceptance for the first time in Jesus. I'd highly, highly recommend this book for kids from threefour all the way up to ten. And their parents!
