For the fans of C. S. Lewis
A lovely little book of snippets, quotes and select paragraphs from his various works, especially for those who have read and are familiar with them. Made me want to read his entire bibliography!

An extraordinary, eclectic book on reading
What a delightful book about the reading life of my favourite author on one of my favourite topics books and reading. The editors have woven together all kinds articles and essays that Lewis had written about authors (e,g. Aristotle, Austen, Beatrix Potter, Dante, Dumas, Shakespeare & Tolstoy, characters from Literature such as Huck & Hamlet and all kinds of genres. \\nThe format of the book is excellent. It is well set out. It's the kind of book you don't have to read in any particular order because of the clear heading one can dip into any section that takes your fancy. The print is easy to read. The only drawback is that there is no index. \\n The best thing about this extraordinary, eclectic book is that has all kind of ideas to encourage reading books. \\n

This is a lovely collation of sections from C. S. Lewis's writings about reading. It is quite a handy reference to use as a starting point before reading his works in their entirety. As a hardcover, with lovely thick pages inside, this would make a delightful gift.
